Mark Wahlberg looked just as muscular as ever as he displayed his ripped physique at the gym, before turning around to flash his backside to his 15.8 million followers. 

While the 49-year-old Ballers star showed off his camouflage boxer briefs, he gave fans a peek at his chiseled torso under his fitted t-shirt on Friday afternoon.  

As he turned around and pulled down his white and grey workout pants, his back was visibly covered with red bruises from a recent cupping therapy appointment.

‘Check out the new @municipal underwear out now!! Polka dot cupping not included,’ the two-time Oscar nominee captioned his cheeky Instagram video. 

Within two hours, the actor’s recording was viewed nearly two million times and received thousands of admiring comments about his gym-honed body. 

‘Don’t be shy, show us more,’ one fan joked under the post, while a number of others quipped nobody was looking at his cupping marks.

Another commenter simply wrote: ‘This is exactly what America needs right now.’ 

The footage served as an advertisement for his athleisure brand, Municipal, which he launched in July with co-founder Stephen Levinson.

According to the company’s website, ‘Mark felt particularly strongly that workout gear had gotten so overtly technical there wasn’t much left that was wearable.’

The duo were prompted to make clothing designed for ‘unique and diverse activities’ that could be worn throughout the day from ‘the basketball courts, meetings’ and ‘wherever’ their client’s ‘busy lives take them.’

‘In recent months, the pandemic has completely disrupted EVERYTHING,’ the activewear business noted, in reference to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. 

The site continued: ‘Everyone is embracing the importance of being comfortable EVERYWHERE, so we can focus on things that truly matter.’

Over the summer, he celebrated his 11th wedding anniversary with wife Rhea Durham, who he shares daughters Ella, 17, Grace, 10, and sons Michael, 14, and Brendan, 12.

Wahlberg told Keys Weekly in August: ‘At the end of the day, I really want to be remembered as a great father and a great husband. My family is what is most important, and they keep me grounded.’
