The departure of Free Guy, starring Ryan Reynolds, and Death on the Nile, a follow-up to Murder on the Orient Express starring Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot, leaves only a handful of major studio movies still slated for release in theaters.

Universal is still releasing their horror-comedy Freaky, starring Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton, on November 13, with Universal/DreamWorks Animation’s Croods: The New Age arriving November 25.

Universal has also struck a deal with AMC Theatres to shorten its theatrical window, and make its films available much earlier on premium video on demand (PVOD).

Warner Bros. is still releasing their highly-anticipated Wonder Woman 1984 on December 25, while Universal is dropping News of the World, starring Tom Hanks, on that date as well.
