Chris Hemsworth is noticeably absent from his brother Luke’s 40th birthday party in Byron Bay… but his wife Elsa Pataky puts in an appearance
Chris Hemsworth was seemingly a no-show at his older brother Luke’s 40th birthday party in Byron Bay on Thursday.
Despite being in town, the 37-year-old Thor star appeared to be absent from the celebration at the Roadhouse café.
Interestingly, Chris’ wife of 10 years, Elsa Pataky, was in attendance, and was seen happily mingling with her in-laws.

The other guests included Luke’s wife, Samantha; his parents, Craig and Leonie; his brother Liam; and Liam’s girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks.
While he may not have attended the birthday party, Chris was in Byron Bay earlier that day.
He was spotted pulling beach towels off the trailer of his pickup truck, before heading for a morning swim.

Liam, 30, shared a photo of himself and his two brothers to Instagram on Thursday to mark Luke’s milestone birthday.
‘Happy 40th birthday! You’ve been a wonderful brother all these years. I’ve taught you well… the rest is up to you. Love you, Luke!’ he wrote in the caption.

Chris didn’t share a post for his brother’s birthday. His most recent Instagram post is a video of his six-year-old son riding a horse from three days ago.
‘My six-year-old really likes horse riding, he also likes flying. Here he is trying to apply the two together,’ he captioned the clip.
