Are they still together? Mystery surrounds Frazer Neate and Elly Miles’ relationship

Elly Miles chose Frazer Neate as her winning suitor during the emotional finale of The Bachelorette on Thursday night.

But as their romantic last scene aired on TV, one bizarre detail left eagle-eyed fans scratching their heads.

Screenshots obtained by Daily Mail Australia prove that the couple weren’t following each other on Instagram after the episode went to air. 

Despite this snub, the pair insisted they were still together on Friday morning in a joint video statement.

They have also since re-followed each other on Instagram. 

In a video uploaded to The Bachelorette’s social media channels, Elly and Frazer said they were ‘excited’ about their future together.

‘We’re really excited for the future now that everything is out in the open and we can just get started,’ Elly says, as she sits next to Frazer. 

‘I think we’re really excited to do real life together, go on some adventures and make some memories and just get to know each other even more outside of the experience we’ve had.’

Frazer meanwhile added that he’s looking forward to being ‘really happy’ with Elly.  

‘It’ll be good for us to be out in the open… and live our life and be really happy together,’ he says. 

Holly Bartter from Matchsmith.com analysed the pair’s body language in the clip and told Daily Mail Australia on Friday that they look ‘connected.’

‘The two are sitting very close together with arms interlinked, their physical closeness represents that they feel connected to one another,’ Bartter said. 

She added that with the pair ‘smiling’ in the clip and making ‘eye contact,’ that it’s a good sign things are on track.

‘They are definitely smitten with each other, and seem very content and cosy – it’s a good sign for things to come for sure,’ she finished.

Meanwhile Elly also posted a picture of herself with Frazer online and said she wants to make ‘some epic memories together.’

Frazer also gushed about Elly on his page, writing: ‘I got to meet Elly.’

‘She is such a kind and genuine person. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store. Exciting times to come.’ 

Elly chose Frazer during Thursday’s highly anticipated Bachelorette finale.

The 25-year-old admitted she was torn between both Frazer and runner-up Joe Woodbury, before revealing her final decision.

‘It’s heartbreaking, because I don’t want to hurt anyone, and I really care about both of these men,’ she confessed.

Wanting to be ‘respectful’ Elly decided to go and find Joe, 25, before the final ceremony to tell him she was choosing Frazer instead. 

Frazer said he was ready to find his ‘life partner’ and was convinced that person was Elly, but he was still unable to tell her he loved her – instead saying: ‘I can really see myself falling in love with you.’

Meanwhile, Elly said: ‘My heart’s racing. I’ve been in love once before, but I don’t think I’ve ever felt a connection or an energy like I do when I’m with you.

‘When I’m with you, I feel like I’m right where I’m meant to be, and standing here with you right now is where I want to stay. I’m crazy about you, Frazer.’

While their relationship is on track, Elly’s sister Becky, 30, revealed on Friday that she has split from her winner, Pete Mann, 35.  

The 30-year-old shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post on Friday, admitting that while her sister, Elly, had found love with Frazer Neate, things ‘didn’t work out’ for her and café owner Pete.

Becky then bravely fronted the media, breaking down in tears during back-to-back radio interviews as she revealed she was ‘angry’ that Pete, 35, had dumped her via FaceTime after just three days.
