‘I had to give them your breakfast to keep them quiet, Karl!’ Allison Langdon takes son Mack, three, and daughter Scout, two, to work on the Today show

Allison Langdon took her kids to work on the Today show on Friday.

The 41-year-old TV journalist was joined by her two young children, son Mack, three, and daughter Scout, two.

Co-host Karl Stefanovic was discussing the US Presidential election and looking at a map of the USA when he turned to Allison, who had her kids sitting on her lap.

‘We could look at this all day, but I’d rather look at this,’ the 46-year-old said, before turning his attention to Allison and her kids.

Despite sitting in the studio, Allison seemed surprised to have been caught on camera during a private moment with her children.

‘The kids have come in! I had to give them your breakfast to keep them quiet, Karl. They’re eating your hash brown,’ she laughed.

A stony-faced Karl then turned to the camera and glared down the barrel, as Allison continued to laugh.

‘Somebody get these pesky kids out of here!’ he joked, before shaking his head in mock disbelief.

They seemed to have stuck around for a while, and Mack was later seen sitting on entertainment reporter Brooke Boney’s lap when the show came back from a commercial break.

Clutching a Donald Trump novelty pen, Mack happily played as he sat with the 33-year-old, as she happily waved at the camera.

Karl then offered Mack a piece of his hash brown, before cruelly popping it into his own mouth before the little boy could take it from him.

‘He ate it! He ate it, Macky! Uncle Karl!’ said a disbelieving Brooke, as Karl ecstatically clapped his hands and laughed.

Later, the show’s hosts all broke into a rendition of Baby Shark, as they tried to keep the toddler entertained.

As Karl changed the lyrics, Mack began to laugh hysterically, prompting the show’s hosts to all crack up.

‘I reckon this works really well. I think you should keep him for the weekend,’ Allison told Brooke, who responded: ‘I see where this is going… Aunty Brooke’s got plans, sorry.’
