But Sam Thompson looked a far cry from his happy chappy persona as he stepped out in London on Thursday, before reuniting with good pal Pete Wicks.
The Made In Chelsea star, 28, failed to raise a smile amid the ongoing speculation he has decided to give his relationship with Zara, 23, another go.

The star later took to his Instagram stories to reveal he was filming something with his BFF Pete.
Sam’s outing comes amid speculation that he is back together with Zara following their explosive split.

The former Love Island star has been trying to win the Made In Chelsea veteran back after she cheated on him with a colleague on Celebrity X Factor last year.
And it looks as though her grovelling could have paid off as according to reports, ‘word amongst their inner circle is they’re back together’.
While Zara and Sam are said to have sparked further speculation after enjoying a Sunday roast with their friends, to which one person posted a picture of to social media this weekend before swiftly deleting.

The duo also appeared to be at the same gym with the same personal trainer on Wednesday as they shared updates to their Instagram Story at the same time, setting tongues wagging even further.
A source told The Sun: ‘They were all having such a nice time that one got carried away and uploaded a post with Sam and Zara in it, forgetting that they’re not officially together.
‘The friend soon realised their mistake and deleted the post before it drew too much attention.

On Monday’s episode of Made In Chelsea, Sam was visited by his pal Reza Amiri-Garroussi who came bearing a letter from Zara.
On the break up, Reza said: ‘Got to say though after meeting her, I did feel bad for her. She’s in a bad way. It’s a s*** situation for everyone involved. But she really is upset. Legit.’

Sam then broke down while reading out the letter from Zara, which read: ‘Dear Sam, since you’ve been away I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on a lot of things. I’ve reflected on my life and our life together and also the kind of life I want to live…
‘Before I continue with some of the things I need to say, I just want to tell you again I am sorry with my whole entire heart for what I did….
‘I’m so deeply ashamed of my actions and the way I hurt you. I was selfish, immature and stupid. There is no excuse.’
Reza then told Zara that Sam is ‘completely out,’ despite her attempts and letter to win him back to which she started crying.
Over the weekend, Zara shared an impassioned throwback post of her and Sam kissing, which read: ‘I choose you. And I’ll choose you over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat. I’ll keep choosing you’.
Zara, who dated the MIC star for over a year, didn’t tag Sam in the romantic photograph and he is yet to comment on her latest declaration of love.
The former Love Island star still follows her ex on the photo-sharing app however Sam unfollowed her after the cheating allegations came to light.
The post comes after Sam mocked the moment Zara begged for his forgiveness on TV in a now-deleted video, before later apologising for causing any offence and insisting he asked for her permission.
