Amy Childs reveals she is ‘desperate to lose her baby weight’ as she vows to train every day, cut out alcohol and eat 1,200 calories each day during lockdown

She is a mum to three-year-old Polly and two-year-old Ritchie Jr. 

And now Amy Childs has revealed she is ‘desperate to lose her baby weight once and for all’. 

Taking to Instagram stories on Thursday, the TOWIE star, 30, said the second national lockdown is going to look much different to her first with a strict training plan.

She told her followers that during the last national lockdown in March, she was drinking every night, but this time she’s going to cut out alcohol. 

Alongside having no alcohol, Amy said that she is going to be training every day and eating 1,200 calories a day. 

She said: ‘Hi guys I thought I’d come on here and talk about my new lockdown rules. 

‘So last lockdown I was basically drinking every night – can anyone relate? – no training really.

‘This lockdown is completely different. I’m going to be training every day, eating healthy – my 1,200 calories. 

‘Day one into lockdown, I’ve trained already with my trainer Rob. WE’ve done a 30-minute HIIT workout. You can get it on my Amy Childs Fitness Journey page. 

‘But do you know what with me, I’m going to be consistent. I’m going to be losing my weight, I’m going to have no alcohol and I’m just going to be healthy eating. 

‘I just want to feel good about myself. I’m in a really good frame of mind. 

‘I just am desperate to lose my baby weight once and for all. I just want mums out there to join my journey and do you know what guys we can do this together.’

On the first day of lockdown, Amy said she did a 30-minute HIIT workout with her trainer Rob. 

The mother-of-two looked stunning as she didn’t wear any make-up to update her followers on her fitness plan.  

The recommended daily calorie intake is 2,000 calories a day for women and 2,500 for men, according the the NHS website. 

Last month, Amy revealed she ‘hates the way her body is’ and that she is ‘the biggest she has ever been’ at 10.5 stone.  

The reality star spoke to her followers from the gym as she explained to her fans she has been ‘very lazy with her diet and exercise’ recently.

She added that she has found it hard this time around to get her body back in shape after giving birth to her second child Richie Jr in 2018.  

Speaking to her fans she said: ‘Hi guys so today is the day 1 of getting back into shape, I’ve got to be honest the second time round I found it very hard, obviously having two kids to get fit.  

‘But I have been introduced to one of the best trainers out there Rob, so basically I need to get really fit.’

Trainer rob then interjected to say: ‘So the plan is we are going to be doing three full body workouts a week with weights and cardio workouts too, we are going to address her nutrition.’
