AJ Pritchard celebrated his 26th birthday with girlfriend Abbie Quinnen on Thursday.

The pair enjoyed a party at home together and the professional dancer, 23, also wrote a sweet tribute to the former Strictly pro as she took to Instagram to post a slew of snaps and looked back at their 19-month romance. 

AJ also shared a glimpse at his birthday celebrations with Abbie via social media by sharing snaps of Polaroids they had taken during their low-key celebrations.

Abbie had prepared a balloon sign that read ‘happy birthday’ as well as an array of other balloons and gifts, while they dressed up for the occasion as she slipped into a chic black dress. 

In the caption, AJ wrote: ‘HAPPY 26th Birthday to me…. Thank You @abbiequinnen for making it so special.. So Many amazing memories already & can’t wait to create many more.’ 

Meanwhile, in her gushing message, Abbie wrote: ‘Happy birthday my very special, extremely gorgeous, hilarious and very loving boyfriend @aj11ace.

Abbie shared a picture of AJ dipping her on the dance floor Get on the Floor live tour as she joked she ‘still liked’ him even after he ‘dropped [her] multiple times onstage.’

Posting a picture from one of their relaxing beach trips, Abbie looked stunning in a blue swimsuit as she posed beside AJ, and she continued the tribute: ‘Here’s to many more holidays together.

The couple first got together in 2018 after Abbie auditioned for AJ’s Get on the Floor live tour. 

They celebrated their one-year anniversary in April when AJ shared a romantic tribute.

The hunk penned: ‘Your my Super Woman ❤️.. Happy 1 year anniversary ..’ [sic] alongside the cute picture taken at their final performance for charity routine Dress Up, Dance, Donate earlier in the month.

Last month, AJ addressed speculation he is set to appear on the show, and claimed he was keen to be on it alongside his brother Curtis.

During an interview with the Mirror, AJ was asked if he was planning to visit Wales any time soon, as they quizzed him on an I’m A Celeb appearance.

‘We would love to do I’m A Celebrity together,’ AJ said, speaking alongside his brother and fellow professional dancer Curtis. 

Before AJ could say another word, Love Island star Curtis, 24, said: ‘I feel so sorry for anyone because when you’re in Australia and obviously everyone’s starving aren’t they.

‘It’s down for snow at one point, supposedly,’ Curtis cheekily told his brother.       

A source close to AJ confirmed to MailOnline earlier in October that he will be heading to Gwrych Castle in Abergele as he prepares to star in his first big TV project since hanging up his dancing shoes.

The source said: ‘AJ is really excited – he can’t wait to get going and for the show to start. It was always his aim to do more TV work after leaving Strictly and there’s no bigger challenge than I’m A Celeb.  

‘He’s an early riser, into his fitness and a dedicated person – he hopes being part of camp will give viewers the chance to get to know him better. 

‘The only downside is he won’t be taking part with brother Curtis, who he’s really enjoyed working with since lockdown.’
