Rosie Ramsey shares snap of her baby bump as she playfully confirms she hasn’t given birth yet

Rosie Ramsey has shared a sweet snap of her blossoming baby bump after some confused followers believed she had already given birth to her second child.

The author and podcaster revealed that she is still nine weeks away from her due date, when she is set to welcome another baby with husband Chris, 34.

Earlier in the day Rosie shared a throwback photo of herself and son Robin, four, but some fans confused it for confirmation that she had welcomed another child.

Rosie held her bare baby bump in the photograph, as she posed for a mirror selfie in her bathroom wearing a blue top and a pair of printed trousers.

She captioned the image: ‘So I posted a throwback pic earlier today of me and Robin when he was a baby… Turns out a lot of you thought I’d popped out sprog number two a good 9 weeks early!’ 

‘Nope! Baby is very much still in there! Just doing my nightly lubing now.’

Rosie also unapologetically addressed the fact she has been posting a lot about her current pregnancy, joking that she hasn’t got much else to do.

She wrote: ‘Ps. I’m extremely aware that I’m posting a lot about my pregnancy, truth is I have F all else going on right now.’ 

The explanation came after some fans mistook the earlier photograph of herself an her son Robin for a birth announcement.

Even fellow Geordie Vicky Pattison admitted she was confused, and wrote: ‘I literally thought this was your new baby… I was like f**k me, she looks well straight after birth [heart eyes] [crying laughing].

Another person wrote: ‘For a split second I thought you’d had the baby, hope you’re doing ok.’

While a different follower wrote: ‘Thought for a second you had already had the second baby and was worried you and how big he/she was!’ 

Rosie and Chris are expecting their second child in January 2021. 

Rosie announced the pregnancy with an Instagram post, writing the caption: ‘4pm wine time BABY’ coming January 2021. . @iamchrisramsey xx’

She then revealed hours later she has been ‘an emotional wreck’ since learning she was expecting their second child.

Rosie also candidly told fans she was ‘very anxious’ leading up the 12-week scan after suffering a miscarriage in 2018, but added the pregnancy is going well.

She said: ‘It’s absolutely killed us this is why I haven’t been on Stories much. One, because I’ve been a hormonal mess.

‘Two, I haven’t been able to drink wine and I got a few questions and I was just like I can’t be dealing with this, and three, I hate lying and it kills us so I haven’t been on Stories much because you know when you have got a secret it’s been weeks.’

Rosie added she first learned she was pregnant when she was just four or five weeks along, but waited until the 12-week scan to announce the news publicly.
