Boy racer who destroyed £1m worth of supercars including a McLaren, Porsche and Bentley

A ‘boy racer’ who destroyed £1 million worth of luxury supercars during a high speed chase through one of London’s most exclusive streets has been warned he faces jail.

Ahmed Al Husseini, 25, reached speeds of up to 70mph as he tore through Chelsea, central London, in pursuit of a speeding Porsche.

Extraordinary footage captured the moment he lost control of his step-father’s Audi Q7 and rolled it completely, ploughing into a series of high end cars.

They included a McClaren sports car worth around £300,000, a £100,000 Porsche Cayenne and £150,000 blue Bentley Bentaya.

The delivery driver had pleaded guilty to a single charge of dangerous driving at Isleworth Crown Court.

He arrived at court today using a crutch to walk, wearing a black hooded top with his face obscured by a mask.

Judge Lindsey Rose told Al Husseini that custody was likely saying ‘this is a very serious matter.’

She said: ‘The fact that this is being adjourned should not be taken on how the judge will deal with it. This is a very serious matter and custody is likely. All options are open.’

Al Husseni’s lawyer Tony Nayager told the court the 25 year old had suffered serious injuries in the high speed crash in August 2019.

He told the court he would require surgery on his knee that had been shattered in the crash and he had lost his job as a result of the injury.

Al Husseini had pleaded guilty to dangerous driving at a previous hearing.

He slammed into half a dozen parked cars in a quiet residential street near Sloane Square in West London.

CCTV cameras in Moore Street, Chelsea, caught the high speed crash and the moment Al Husseini’s lost control of the 3 litre Q7 as he chased after speeding Porsche.

The film the shows the extraordinary moment the large SUV ricochets off the stationary cars before catapulting into the air and slamming into metal railings at the front of a terraced home.

Two other Porsches and two Audi Q7’s were also hit by his speeding vehicle in the early hours of the morning in August 2019.

A Porsche sports car leading the chase disappeared and has never been found.

Witnesses estimated that 11 luxury cars worth a total of £1 million were damaged and said anyone walking along the street, where homes sell for over £3m, would have been killed.

Iraqi born Al Husseini spent two days in hospital after suffering a head injury and bears the scars from the terrifying crash.

He arrived at court limping and leaning on a crutch. A jagged scar from his head injury was clearly visible on his shaved head.

Al Husseini was accompanied by two friends to the court.

No one else was injured in the pile up with residents saying their street was often used for high speed races.

His lawyer told the court the incident had met the custody threshold. He told the court they were waiting for medical reports on injuries he suffered.

Al Husseini was granted bail and will be sentenced at Isleworth later this year.
