And Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong’s pooch spent time with the TV presenter, 44, on Tuesday as he took him out for a walk near his London home.

It’s likely that Ant will be spending some quality time with Hurley before he heads to Abergele, North Wales, to film the new series of I’m A Celebrity.

The ITV show is normally filmed in a tropical jungle in Australia but it has been switched to a castle in Conwy, North Wales, because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new firebreak restrictions kicked off in Wales on October 23 and are expected to be lifted on November 9, days before the new series begins.

It was revealed that the TV crews working on the new series of I’m A Celebrity are kitted out with ‘proximity monitors’ so they don’t get closer than two metres to each other.

ITV bosses remain confident that despite Wales going into full lockdown again, the show will go ahead as planned.

An ITV spokesman said: ‘I’m A Celebrity continues to adhere to all relevant guidelines as well as our own strict Covid protocols.’
