It’s the race that stops the nation, but that wasn’t enough to get Elly and Becky Miles to turn up on time to a Melbourne Cup event on Tuesday.
The Bachelorette stars arrived fashionably late to a G.H Mumm Melbourne Cup luncheon in Sydney, missing the iconic race.
The sisters turned up at 3.13pm and posed for several photos, before quickly moving on and leaving the event at around 3.50pm.

Despite this, the sisters both stunned in head-to-toe pink ensembles.
Elly, 26, was right on-trend in a pink floral jumpsuit, which she paired with white strappy heels and a floral headband.
She kept her makeup natural, with flawless foundation and a touch of mascara, and swept her blonde locks into a messy updo.

Meanwhile, Becky, 30, flaunted her trim pins in a long sleeved mini dress featuring frills around the hem.
She completed the look with a matching pink headband, strappy red heels and a block coloured pink clutch.
Just like her sister, she opted to wear her hair up in a messy updo with a few curls framing her face.

She opted for a pale pink makeup palette featuring a sweeping of eyeshadow and a pale pink pout.
Their appearance comes amid poor rating for the Channel Ten dating show, with TV Blackbox reporting that it had just 464,000 metro viewers last Wednesday, and a total of 610,000 nationally.
Thursday was scarcely better, with a paltry 499,000 metro viewers, and 642,000 in total, tuning in.
The latest dismal figures come after a season of low ratings for the dating show.
