But on Saturday, evicted star Nick Chamberlain suffered an embarrassing photo fail when he was caught in a very compromising position. 

In a picture shared to Instagram by his co-star Rudy El Kholti, the 25-year-old’s right hand was awkwardly placed as he posed in budgie smugglers for a group shot.

Fans on the Bachelor and Bachelorette Spoiler Forums were quick to point out the bizarre position of Nick’s hand.

‘Something tells me Nick was not quite ready for this photo to be taken,’ one user commented. 

Another wrote: ‘Credits to whoever got the perfect timing for that picture. If that’s his usual “style”, then major Ciarran vibes.’

In the photo, Nick appeared to be rearranging the goods as he sported a pair of pale blue budgie smugglers.

He was joined by his co-stars Pascal Wallace, Shannon Karaka, Rudy, Sam Vescio, Samuel Minkin and Andrew Thomas. 

The men were all smiles as they enjoyed a day out on a boat to celebrate Halloween.

According to TV Blackbox, The Bachelorette had just 464,000 metro viewers last Wednesday, and a total of 610,000 nationally.

Thursday was scarcely better, with a paltry 499,000 metro viewers, and 642,000 in total, tuning in.

The latest dismal figures come after a season of low ratings for the dating show.
