Boogie: Sheridan Smith gave her fans a rare glimpse of son Billy, six months, after sharing two hilarious videos of him dancing to Stormzy’s music on Instagram over the weekend

In the first video, posted on Instagram on Saturday, barefooted Billy was filmed from behind as he danced to Stormzy’s Big For Your Boots in his Jumperoo baby bouncer.

The energetic boy bounced up-and-down to the beat of the music before swaying from side-to-side while Sheridan held up an iPhone in front of her beige sofa.

The TV star even joked that she should start up some baby raves in a caption alongside the adorable video.

She wrote: ‘Me and @nickie85 are going to dragons den, babies should be able to rave too @stormzy @ashleymcguire72.’

In a second clip shared on Sunday, Sheridan and a friend, thought to be Ashley Bean, could be heard cackling and giggling as Billy bounces to the same Stormzy track.

Billy danced along to the iconic song in little woolly booties, with one person joking in the video that ‘he’s too big for his boots’.

Another voice could be heard saying: ‘He loves it.’

Sheridan has previously said that Billy enjoyed a boogie or two in her womb.

The BAFTA and Olivier award-winning entertainer said when she and partner Jamie, 30, attended musical shows before lockdown, the baby would ‘kick like mad’.

The Two Pints of Lager actress said that she liked to picture the baby doing ‘a little kick and a jazz hand here and there’.

Fans were quick to respond to the hilarious videos, with some suggesting that Billy was following in his mother’s footsteps.

One said: ‘Oh! he’s got his mamas moves.’

Another added: ‘Aww you’ve got a Billy Ellìot on your hands.’

Others also suggested Sheridan and Billy should attend one of the baby raves that are already held to help little ones get rid of their excess energy.

Sheridan admitted last month that she would ‘love to have another baby’ with her insurance broker beau Jamie.

She revealed that she had never expected to have children but that giving birth to Billy has changed her perspective.

Sheridan told Kerry Ellis on the Keep Calm and Kerry On podcast: ‘I’d love to have another baby – we’ve already spoken about it.

‘It’s hard when you start planning work, but it would be so nice.’

The couple only revealed the name of their first child in July and, according to Sheridan, Jamie wants Billy to be an Arsenal football player.

But the TV actress added that they will ultimately support Billy with whatever he chooses to do in the future.

She explained: ‘I never saw children on the cards for me, but it puts everything into perspective. Jamie’s dead-set on Billy being an Arsenal player. He’s like, “If we can, get him into an academy at three” and I’m like “No”.

‘But when Jamie’s out, I put music on and shimmy at him. Whatever Billy does, we’ll support him. I’m learning as I go along.’

The mother-of-one also pleaded with online trolls in September to ‘leave her alone’ after she said she wouldn’t be posting pictures of her baby son on social media.

Sheridan said that her son was the only thing that ‘kept her going’ during a candid reply to her Instagram followers.

Posting pictures of herself as a baby Sheridan told fans: ‘I won’t be putting pics of the boy up on social media. But basically … he looks like a male version of me. Just less 80’s and more handsome! God love him! we all send our love.’

Sheridan later said of the trolls: ‘I know I can’t stop them but my boy is the only thing that keeps me going. Please leave us alone.’

Ex strictly dancer Kevin Clifton supported her saying: ‘I really don’t understand the mindset of people who make these comments.’

The Royle Family star is currently shooting a TV version of Jack And The Beanstalk alongside David Walliams, while her fiancé is there to look after Billy.

Sheridan and Jamie met after they both swiped right on Tinder, and they then worked together during lockdown on the socially-distanced show Isolation Stories.

During her TV documentary, Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum, her fiancé opened up about the moment they first locked eyes.

Jamie said: ‘On our first date she was so timid, so sweet and nervous.

‘She came into this ram-packed boozer, an hour late. She walked in and literally she gave me this smile from across the bar and that was it.’

Jamie reportedly proposed to Sheridan in May 2018 with a £10,000 ring, and the couple now reside in a rented property in North London.
