Tiffany Haddish and Common confirm their romance is going strong as they say ‘I love you’

They were the subject of breakup rumors earlier this week.

But Tiffany Haddish and Common confirmed things were better than ever during a short Instagram Live chat on Friday morning.

The 40-year-old comic actress and the 48-year-old rapper were believed to have split by some of their fans after they noticed that Common wasn’t following Tiffany on Instagram.

Lovebirds: Tiffany Haddish, 40, and her boyfriend Common, 48, confirmed they were still together on Friday after breakup rumors by saying ‘I love you’ on Instagram Live

The lack of a follow is usually a surefire way to spot a celebrity break-up, but some fans pointed out online that Common had never been following his girlfriend on Instagram.

The short-lived controversy seems to have emboldened him to put more Tiffany on his timeline, as he’s now following the Girls Trip star.

The couple confirmed that everything was fine with them on Friday morning when they appeared together in an Instagram Live chat while Tiffany was getting her makeup done by a professional.

The two voting rights advocates celebrated as she revealed that she’d gotten a message saying her mail-in ballot had been received.

‘My vote counted!’ she said.

‘I’m proud of you, I’m happy, thank you,’ Common said, while Tiffany revealed that she mailed in her ballot from Budapest, Hungary.

Tiffany first confirmed the news of her relationship back in August during an appearance on Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast.

‘Yeah, I’m doing it with Common now. I met him when I was shooting my movie The Kitchen. We became friends but it wasn’t sexual or anything like that,’ she explained.

She said the two later ‘got tested for everything and yeah we’ve been f**king,’ after she decided she was looking for a relationship.

The comic joked that it was her ‘first time ever dating a celebrity. I f**ked one, but this is my first time like being in a relationship with one.’

That same month, Common gushed about her while appearing on Live With Kelly And Ryan.

‘She’s a wonderful woman, a queen, and just a beautiful person, man,’ he said. ‘You know, I just care for her a lot, enjoy her, and am grateful to have her in my life. I’m happy.’
