Despite needing to refrigerate her freshly baked ‘zebra cookies’ overnight  to prevent them from falling apart, her tot couldn’t wait for them to cool off.

When asked if he liked it, John Legend’s mini-me nodded his head and smiled.

‘Okay, I’m going to make little zebra cakes, but I’m going to make them into spiders, these are just chocolate wafers,’ she explained, while revealing they are for her children’s pandemic ‘pod.’

As she recorded the seasonal recipe, Teigen made sure to note that all the school-age kids and adults in her ‘pod’ are regularly tested for coronavirus.

‘We are tested weekly,’ the star told her more than 32.9 million Instagram followers. ‘Did you know I’ve had like over 30 tests?’

During her baking session, the mother-of-two transformed the cookies into spiders with candy eyes and legs out of chocolate Pocky sticks and black licorice.

Upon competition, she admired her work, calling the results ‘very cute’ and sharing a handwritten supply list, which included a package of chocolate wafers, a tub of cool whip, black licorice and chocolate sprinkles.

The doting mom also appeared to be wearing minimal makeup, as she opted to wear her hair in a messy bun and created new recipes.

On Wednesday afternoon, the beauty recorded herself making popcorn balls, which she admitted took ‘four days’ to get perfectly ‘flavorful and salty.’

The treats looked extra tasty, as she drizzled peanut butter on top, which she placed in a bag, before decorating with a giant spider.

To compensate for not allowing her children to go trick-or-treat amid the ongoing COVID-19, she has been making a different type of candy for every room of her home.

Earlier this week, she confirmed she was returning to  social media after spending weeks away recovering from losing her son Jack, while four months pregnant.

Chrissy has quietly been dealing with the pain ever since with the help of her husband John Legend, 41, which she opened up about in a brave essay posted to Medium.

‘I had no idea when I would be ready to write this. Part of me thought it would be early on, when I was still really feeling the pain of what happened,’ began the cover girl as she detailed her loss and how the kindness of strangers has helped her recover.

She added, ‘I thought I would sit in the corner of my bedroom with the lights dimmed, just rolling off my thoughts. I’d have a glass of red wine, cozy up with a blanket, and finally get the chance to address ‘what happened.’

Many shared ‘incredible personal experiences,’ books and poems.

‘I wanted to thank everyone, share our story with each individual person. But I knew I was in no state to. For me, the “no need to respond” note was such a true relief. I thank you for each and every one of those.’

One of the standout moments was when she went through the halls of labor and delivery, and John saying ‘What, is there a f***ing party going on here??’

‘I was about to fully deliver what was supposed to be the 5th member of our beautiful family, a son, only to say goodbye moments later. People cheered and laughed right outside our door, understandably for a new life born and celebrated. You kind of wonder how anyone is thinking about anyone but you,’ she said.

‘At this point I had already come to terms with what would happen: I would have an epidural and be induced to deliver our 20 week old, a boy that would have never survived in my belly (please excuse these simple terms).’
