The Bachelorette’s James Boggia has ‘no regrets’ after he stormed off at the dinner party

He was booted off The Bachelorette on Wednesday, shortly after storming out of a dinner party in a fit of jealous rage.

And now contestant James Boggia has spoken about the dramatic episode, saying that he has ‘no regrets’ about the way he handled things.

But the 28-year-old pro wakeboarder told News.com.au that he is trying to ‘learn’ from his behaviour and was shocked to see how it all played out on television.

Speaking out: The Bachelorette’s James Boggia has ‘no regrets’ after storming off at the dinner party in a jealous rage on Wednesday’s episode, but admits he’s ‘learning’ from his behaviour

‘I have no regrets about anything. It’s all learning curves,’ James told the publication.

But he said he wishes he’d thought more carefully about how to answer personal questions during the dinner table Q&A session.

He added: ‘It’s really made me take a look at my behaviour and think about my actions.’

‘I just let my emotions get the better of me and it’s something that I’m using to make some changes in my life.’

On Wednesday’s episode, James dramatically stormed out of a dinner party after getting jealous over Elly Miles’ past with Joe Woodbury.

In tense scenes that aired during a Q&A with Elly and her sister Becky, James’ emotions became uncontrollable as Joe explained his romantic past with the blonde.

Joe was questioned if he and Elly’s connection was more serious than a ‘weekend away’ to which he offered a cagey response to the table.

‘It was that weekend. Yeah, it was that weekend,’ Joe, 25, told the table, choosing not to kiss-and-tell in front of the other suitors.

Elly at this stage could see James was becoming uncomfortable, which led to Becky call him out on his behaviour.

‘You alright, James?’ Becky asked, in a confrontational way. To which James replied curtly: ‘Yeah, I’m fine.’

Not a fan! James then dramatically got up and left in a bizarre moment which shocked everyone at the table. Elly (pictured) was extremely unimpressed with his behaviour, calling it a 'red flag' for her

As the intensity of the moment kept rising, James turned to co-star Frazer Neale and said he was going to leave the table.

‘I’m going to walk off the table bro,’ James said, after taking a gulp of his red wine.

Elly was extremely unimpressed with his behaviour, calling it a ‘red flag’ for her.

‘I have a history, I have a past and I’m not ashamed of it, and I don’t want to be with someone that’s going to be possessive or jealous or dramatic,’ she said.

‘To see this complete flip in his behaviour, it’s really unattractive,’ she said. ‘And honestly, it’s a massive red flag for me.’

Awkward: Earlier in the evening, James was asked about his 'fetish' at the dinner party. 'I don't really have a fetish but I'm a guy that likes a little bit of dominance,' he confessed awkwardly

‘I don’t really have a fetish but I’m a guy that likes a little bit of dominance,’ James confessed.

‘Not so much, like, hard, but a little bit rough, a little bit… I like the soft side too,’ he added, trying to water down his answer.

At the end of Wednesday’s episode the remaining lads were faced with a double elimination, ahead of hometown visits.
