‘I really thought she was The One’: A heartbroken James Boggia is sent home during a shock double elimination on The Bachelorette

A devastated James Boggia was eliminated during Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelorette, after missing out on a rose from Elly Miles.

Standing nervously alongside the other suitors, the 28-year-old pro wakeboarder admitted he’d ‘stuffed up along the way’.

But he insisted he had ‘way more of a connection’ with the 25-year-old Bachelorette than some of the other guys, and hoped it would be enough to see him through.

‘If I get through this, I need to prove to Elly that I’m The One for her,’ he said.

‘Elly means so much to me. I never thought I’d feel this way so soon, and I know if I don’t get that rose… I’m gonna be shattered.’

Unfortunately, James never received a rose from Elly, leaving him visibly distraught, as the other suitors rallied around him and tried to console him.
