Roxy Jacenko and entitled influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews dine on oysters together in Byron Bay 

Ruby Tuesday Matthews has been labelled ‘entitled’ by angry Instagram users following the model’s so-called ‘oystergate’ scandal’ last Thursday. 

But the 27-year-old, who held up a Jetstar flight by leaving the airport to eat oysters, looked anything but downcast as she visited Beach Byron Bay restaurant with her manager Roxy Jacenko, 40, and a friend to eat even more seafood on Monday. 

The women looked decidedly merry as they left the restaurant, after spending nearly five hours dining on shellfish and sipping rosé. 

Ruby was spotted leaving the eatery with her gal pal Saskia Wotton, who was also present at the lavish luncheon.  

The two women appeared to be in high spirits as they made their way down the pavement to a parked car. 

At one stage, the pair momentarily stopped to pose for some silly selfies.  

After climbing into the car, Ruby began puffing on a cigarette while she and Saskia posed for even more selfies. 

Ruby wore a grey T-shirt, denim shorts and sneakers, completing her look with a cowboy hat and stacks of designer bangles. 

Slung over one shoulder was a Gucci shopping bag containing a gift Roxy had given her over lunch.   

Ruby had documented the moment she received Roxy’s very generous gift hours earlier, by uploading an Instagram Story video of the Gucci shopping bag. 

‘Oh my god, Rox, I’m one lucky b**ch, and you are the best f**king management in the world,’ Ruby could be heard saying from behind the camera.  

Elsewhere, a bronzed Roxy and her entourage were spotted looking happy as clams as they left the restaurant separately. 

The publicity guru carried a cardboard box emblazoned with the brand of a local hat-maker, while one of her staffers toted two cowboy hats from the same designer. 

Another male staffer carried a laptop – hinting that the seafood luncheon doubled as a business meeting.  

Roxy looked typically trendy in a black T-shirt, leopard print bike shorts and a black jumper draped over her shoulders.  

She completed her look with a pair of neon Channel sneakers and a set of aviator sunglasses. 

Once she reached the car park, Roxy stopped to pose for photos in a cowboy hat, before finally climbing into her vehicle and zipping away. 

Earlier in the day, Ruby poked fun at her recent Jetstar controversy by uploading an Instagram video of herself and her fellow diners tucking into seafood platters, while declaring ‘It’s an oystergate!’

Ruby was due to fly from Byron Bay to Sydney last Thursday at 5pm, but a technical issue caused the flight to be delayed.

The budget airline asked travellers to stay put while waiting for an engineer, and told passengers the new departure time would likely be about 7.30pm.

But Ruby and her travel companion left the airport to grab a bite to eat at a beachside restaurant, holding up the plane an extra 30 minutes as it waited on the tarmac for the pair to return. 

In videos exclusively taken by Daily Mail Australia on last Thursday’s flight, frustrated passengers could be heard heckling the single mother-of-two as she boarded half an hour after the plane was due to take off. 

Footage showed passengers shouting ‘how were the oysters’ and ‘what a day to be pretty’ as she entered the aircraft. 

When the plane touched down in Sydney, Ruby wasted no time in calling out Jetstar on her Instagram page, slamming the airline for their handling of the incident. 

She blamed the airline for what had happened and told the other passengers to ‘grow up’.

‘I had a pretty traumatic flight experience, thanks Jetstar, you never cease to amaze me,’ she began. 

‘I’m sorry but it really was not my fault…we were told it was going to be taking off at 7.45pm, I had not eaten since my smoothie that morning because I had been in back-to-back meetings. 

‘I was like ”f*** this, I’m going to get food out of the airport, it’s two hours until our flight takes off, I’m going to go”. 

‘I walked out, I did not hear the second announcement that apparently said ”do not leave the airport”. 

‘I didn’t hear that, I swear to god, I wouldn’t have left the airport, I’m not a d***head, I do have respect for everyone else.’

She claimed she was met with ‘very personal comments’ when she got on the plane. 

‘I was basically bullied by about seven to 10 to 14 people at different times, then they made comments about my children. No Jetstar staff stopped this at any time. I copped it hard for about 15 minutes.

‘I was scared for myself because number one, I was by myself…number two, no one else who was later than me copped any abuse, it was just me alone.   

On Sunday, Ruby took to Instagram on yet again to call out the airline, claiming the staff at Sydney Airport demanded they go through her phone before boarding a flight back to Byron Bay.

‘So I just went up to the Jetstar desk to complain about what had happened [last week] and the treatment,’ she told her 210,000 followers.

‘I was just met outside by the manager and airline staff who wanted to go through my phone to make sure that I just didn’t film them inside.

‘Apparently you’re not allowed to film Jetstar staff. Which is f***king kind of crazy when everyone on that plane filmed Jetstar staff. 

‘Are you f***king off your heads Jetstar?’ 

Ruby then shared a video of her and a friend holding their Virgin boarding passes while walking through the terminal.

She also posted a photo posing outside Sydney Airport with the caption: ‘Smiling because we aren’t flying S**TSTAR @jetstaraustralia’. 

‘Came to Sydney with only carry on and leaving with a lot more,’ the caption continued, next to a photo of Gucci luggage, a shopping bag from high end fashion house Golden Goose and a large suitcase. 

Ruby also hashtagged ‘oystergate’ and ‘s**tstar’. 

The beauty was bombarded by dozens of people calling her ‘entitled,’ prompting her to turn off comments.
