This is the shocking moment a driver spins a Ferrari wildly out of control while speeding in London, smashing into the side of a bridge.

The footage shows the car narrowly avoiding pedestrians and cyclists as the motorist struggles to steer the supercar.

It careens into the side of Lambeth Bridge in central London, prompting the airbags to be released.

The video was widely shared online on Tuesday when the accident is said to have taken place. 

It shows the driver pulling up in the Ferrari 812 Superfast, which costs around £260,000, on the south of the river.

As the motorist pulls up at a set of traffic lights, a beeping noise is heard as they turn off the traction control.

The driver then turns the supercar on to the narrow bridge where a number of pedestrians and cyclists and seen and where a speed limit of 20mph is in place.
