Jasmin says she was ROBBED of a win on The Block

Emotions were at an all-time high as the five teams presented their hallway, staircase and laundry at the end of Hell Week on Monday’s episode of The Block.

A devastated Jasmin claimed she and Luke were ‘robbed’ of a win, after Jimmy and Tam chose to use their gnome, giving them an advantage of just half a point.

Meanwhile, just hours prior to the reveal, George came to blows with foreman Dan over the gap between the floor and the staircase stringer.

Emotional: Drama hit an all-time high on Monday’s episode of The Block as Jasmin (pictured with Luke) said she was ROBBED of a win, after Jimmy and Tam used their gnome, giving them an advantage of just half a point

Originally Jasmin and Luke were on top of the leaderboard, but Jimmy and Tam made the decision to use their gnome, adding an extra point onto their score.

‘We had to use the gnome, but a win is a win. That’s the game,’ Jimmy said in a piece to camera.

An emotional Jasmin could not believe she fell half a point short of the $10,000 cash prize, after a taxing week that cost up to $15,000 in labour and materials.

‘I don’t want to talk about it. I knew that was going to happen. We should have won,’ she said, before storming off the set.

She later said in the car as Luke drove home that they were ‘robbed’, adding: ‘That gnome cost us 15 grand. I hate that f***ing gnome!’

Meanwhile, earlier on in the show, George came to blows with foreman Dan over the construction of the staircase.

Not impressed: George asked how it was his fault, and said he simply does not have the time, after arranging for a cleaner to work their magic around the home: 'Mate, I'm not going to rip up the floors. Mate, no. I'll just take a bit on the points'

Calling him out: Dan addressed George's behaviour on camera, saying he needs to 'man up': 'He's got to put his hand up, admit something's wrong and fix it now'

Dan addressed George’s behaviour on camera, saying he needs to ‘man up’.

‘I understand George is not a builder or a stair maker, but he is the client and he is the project manager. He’s got to put his hand up, admit something’s wrong and fix it now.’

He added: ‘You’re on The Block, mate. You’ve had your five week holiday. Man up!’

Jimmy and Tam finished on 29 points, followed by Luke and Jasmin on 28-and-a-half.

Harry and Tash, Sarah and George, and Daniel and Jade, all tied on 25 points.

Criticism: The judges weren't in favour of Sarah and George's staircase, saying it would have looked much better if they added a tint to the wood, making it blend in with the floorboards
