Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson shares her struggle to get baby Oliver into a carrier

She has been happily getting accustomed to parenthood after welcoming her first child with Cameron Merchant earlier this month. 

But Jules Robinson, 37, found herself in a pickle on Friday, when she attempted to put her son Oliver in a baby carrier for the first time.

In a post shared to Instagram, the new mum explained that after a failed attempt, she turned to a ‘YouTube tutorial’ to get it right. 

‘When you get a hand-me-down from a GF and think, yeah I got this. Poor child,’ she captioned the post. 

‘Any way…. a bit of a YouTube tutorial and I was on the move.’ 

Alongside the post she shared a series of images of her attempt to get the newborn into the carrier. 

One image featured the bub looking a bit confused as he lay on his side in the carrier, before she shared several pictures of the bub in the correct position.

Jules looked casual chic in a black and white stripped pair of pyjamas from BAE The Label and wore her red hair loose.  

After her initial struggle, Jules admitted that she was able to do ‘so much’ with the carrier on and admits it’s ‘never coming off’. 

‘I’m still in my pjs at 5.30 pm but I have done so much with this on AND I even fed him and he burped like a winner in it too. Have a feeling this is never coming off,’ she added. 

It comes after her husband Cameron, 36, had his own parenting struggle last week, when he revealed that he was desperate to use the bathroom but risked having to wake up the youngster who was asleep on his lap. 

In a post shared to his Instagram Stories, the MAFS star said: ‘When he finally falls asleep but now you need to get up and go to the bathroom and don’t want to wake him #trouble’. 

The short clip saw Cam grinning at the camera while panning the camera to his sleeping youngster.
