Eva Mendes shares daughters Esmeralda, six, and Amada, four, with long-time partner Ryan Gosling.

In an interview with  9Honey on Friday, the 46-year-old actress revealed how she and The La La Land actor have been coping amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 

She explained that spending time in quarantine with two kids and a new puppy, Lucho, who they adopted last year, has been both ‘maddening’ and ‘beautiful’.

‘We’re doing well, but we have our moments like any parents, where it’s maddening and then it’s beautiful, followed up by just feeling insane and then feeling so grateful,’ she said. 

The Hitch star also added that Ryan, 39, is an ‘amazing chef’, so he has taken over the cooking responsibilities during the lockdowns.   

‘He’s the baker [in the family]. I can bake a mean cookie. I learned how to make an oat flour chocolate-chip cookie,’ added Eva.

‘Beyond that, I’m not great in the kitchen. Thankfully, Ryan is an amazing chef and an amazing baker, and he’s been really fun in quarantine in that way.’ 

Meanwhile, the mum-of-two told Now To Love on Friday, that she has binged watched the beloved Australian kids’ show, Bluey, with her daughters. 

‘They love Bluey! Blue is huge in our house. Huge,’ she said, referring to the cartoon series which airs on the ABC.

‘It’s really beautiful, I really love Bluey. They get kind of this crazy energy afterwards and they play tricks on us. They really love the frozen statue thing.

‘But they love Bluey, and we love Bluey, and we watch it a lot,’ she continued.

Bluey is an animated television series that follows a Blue Heeler puppy named Bluey.
