Bachelorette hunk Damien Stone is dumped from the show

So long! Bachelorette hunk Damien Stone is savagely dumped from the show during tense rose ceremony… leaving eight potential suitors left for sisters Elly and Becky Miles

He was thought to be one of the top contenders on The Bachelorette.

But hunky property developer Damien Stone didn’t tickle either Elly or Becky Miles’ fancy on Thursday night, as he was savagely dumped in front of the nation during the tense rose ceremony.

While the 31-year-old’s charming smile and reality TV star pals made him seem like he could be a match for one of the siblings, he didn’t receive a rose from either of the girls – and graciously left the show without drama.

‘Nice to meet you,’ he said to the ladies before his departure, giving them a hug.

‘Cheer up, gents. It’s been a good run. See you boys!’ he said to the group on his way out.

Following his departure, Damien took to Instagram to share his thoughts about his time on the show.

He wrote: ‘What. An. Experience! I went into the mansion looking for a romance, and came out with a few bromances!

‘I feel very privileged to have been able to have had the opportunity to try to find love on national television. It may not have panned out the way I had planned when I entered the mansion but hey, that’s life!

‘A special thank you goes to Elly and Becky. It can’t be easy being the Bachelorette’s and you two have, and are, handling yourselves with class, dignity and poise and I really enjoyed getting to know the both of you.’
