The Block All Stars Mark McKie and Mitch Edwards return to help Harry and Tash

On Tuesday’s episode of The Block, the All Stars from the 2019 season returned to give the new contestants a helping hand. 

And no pair made a bigger splash than Mark McKie and Mitch Edwards – who were last year’s most controversial contestants. 

The glamorous granddads were brought in to whip father and daughter duo Harry and Tash into shape. 

As soon as they arrived at the pair’s 1920’s home, they realised there was more work to do than they’d hoped.   

‘We thought we were coming back to paint and it’s not ready!’ Mitch said, appearing shocked. 

‘There’s nothing to paint because it’s all fresh plaster and its not sanded,’ he added. 

Mark chimed in: ‘I said to Harry so what are we going to do tonight and he said we probably won’t do anything tonight!’ 

As Mitch chanted a worried, ‘no no no no!’ Mark said: ‘I’m wondering if they’re ready for how quick we want to work’. 

Mark then sat down with Harry, telling them that by tomorrow, they had to have the laundry, tiles done and painting done. 

Mitch meanwhile pushed Tash to make a choice regarding artwork for the property while she whined that she could not decide.   

‘No, no, no, no, you gotta decide! No more maybes! It’s decisions or we will be here forever. You gotta see it, love it, decide, buy it!’ he insisted. 

Mitch and Mark panicked the next day when things were taking too long and called in their builders from last year – the Charles brothers. 

Mark complained: ‘We have to spend money… I don’t think they realise how much they have to get done’.
