Channel 4 recently announced that they were reviving The Big Breakfast show in 2021 and airing a one off special of the popular morning TV programme as part of Black Takeover Day.

It will see Channel 4 switch up its usual schedule and reimagine some of the network’s biggest shows a year on since the death of George Floyd and the international Black Lives Matter protests.

The show will feature black presenters and emerging talent, and the broadcaster said is part of its ‘ongoing commitment as an anti-racist organisation to improve Black representation on and off-screen and drive long-term change.’
