The show was renewed in April for a second season, following a strong debut in January, though the show will have some different faces in Season 2.

Liv Tyler opted out of her Season 2 option over concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic, since she had traveled back and forth from London to Los Angeles.

Gina Torres was announced to star just weeks earlier as a new character, Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, who re-enters the workforce to support her family after her husband’s restaurant shuts down due to COVID-19.
