Chris Hemsworth shares a glimpse of his very relaxed table read for Thor: Love and Thunder

He leads a quiet and private life away from the Hollywood spotlight in a coastal town near Byron Bay.

And on Tuesday, Chris Hemsworth offered fans a glimpse into his relaxed lifestyle as he shared a photo from his table read for his next movie Thor: Love and Thunder.

The 37-year-old posted a picture to Instagram of his dad Craig and film director Taika Waititi lying down on the grass barefoot.

‘Terrific first script meeting for “Thor Love and Thunder” with our ever fearless leader Taika Waititi,’ Chris captioned the post.

‘My notes were so detailed and intense that the only way for Taika to fully absorb them was to roll himself into a tight cocoon and bake in the endless possibilities of where the film will take us.

‘The bloke in the background was equally riveted by my storytelling prowess,’ Chris joked.

Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to begin filming this month.

The film was slated to shoot at Moore Park’s Fox Studios, however the location is believed to be under review as NSW continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the Marvel film is tipped to move to Queensland.

Last month, Chris confirmed he won’t be retiring his famous character after Thor: Love and Thunder.

‘Are you crazy?! I’m not going into any retirement period,’ he told Poland’s Elle Man.

‘Thor is far too young for that. He’s only 1,500 years old. It’s definitely not a film that I say goodbye to. At least I hope so.’

The movie, which is the fourth in the action franchise, reunites Chris with his co-stars Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman, and also features Christian Bale.
