‘It’s the highlight of my week!’ Bake Off fans go wild as Matt Lucas FINALLY utters his iconic Little Britain catchphrase during Pastry Week
It’s been the moment fans had been waiting for since he joined the show earlier this year.
And fans of The Great British Bake Off couldn’t contain their excitement on Tuesday as host Matt Lucas finally referenced his iconic character from the sitcom Little Britain.
Viewers flooded Twitter with delighted reactions as Matt uttered the beloved catchphrase said by his character Andy during the famous sitcom.

The remaining eight bakers were tasked with creating Cornish pasties for their Signature Challenge during Pastry Week.
As Lottie’s creation was judged by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, it appeared her work had caught Matt’s eye.
Clearly keen to enjoy one of her creations he said: ‘I’m serious. I want that one,’ before switching to Andy’s Northern drawl to add: ‘That one!’

Andy was one of Little Britain’s most iconic characters, famously uttering little more than two phrases: ‘I want that one,’ and ‘I don’t like it.’
While appearing wheelchair bound to his carer Lou, played by David Walliams, he would hilariously leap from his chair the moment Lou’s back was turned.
Needless to say the reference sparked a flurry of responses from fans, with one writing: ‘Matt Lucas has been waiting to say ”I want that one” all series.’
