Zach Braff declares ‘voting is sexy’ during a quick stop at a convenience store in the Hollywood Hills… ahead of Nov. 3 elections in US

He has been out in force in recent months encouraging people to vote in the upcoming elections in the US.

And on Sunday Zach Braff declared ‘voting is sexy’ when he stepped out to pick up some groceries at a market in the Hollywood Hills with the political statement written on the front of his t-shirt.

In one of his most recent efforts to increase the vote for the November 3 elections, Braff teamed up with his former Scrubs co-star Donald Faison and promised to give instructions to the perfect appletini if 1500 people registered to vote or checked their registration status.

Braff, 45, cruised into the Laurel Canyon Country Store parking lot in style in his $170,000 Audi R8 sports car.

Along with his red — voting is sexy — t-shirt, the actor wore baby blue-patterned shorts and multi-colored socks and sneakers.

He also donned a protective mask over his mouth and nose, which is in keeping with health and safety protocols amid the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Braff and Faison, who co-host the weekly comedy podcast — Fake Doctors, Real Friends — posted a video urging their fans to head to HeadCount.org to ensure that they’re registered to vote in the upcoming election.

In the end, the two longtime friends kept their word and mixed appletinis on an Instagram livestream on October 6.

‘We promised you that if 1500 of you registered to vote or checked your registration status we’d teach you how to make an Appletini. Well…. 11,395 of you did it!!!’ Braff gushed in the caption just hours before they shot the livestream.

With a heavy dose of comedic flare, Braff and Faison proceeded to lay out their tips on how to make a gorgeous appletini cocktail, with the help of Braff’s ladylove Florence Pugh behind the camera shooting all the fun.

Pugh and Braff reportedly met when they worked together on the short film, In The Time It Takes To Get There, in early 2019, and have been an item ever since.

The New jersey native and Faison launched their podcast in March 2020. They starred together on the medical comedy-drama Scrubs during all nine seasons from 2001-2010.
