Bachelorette host Osher Gunsberg hopes Pascal Wallace ‘has a chance to learn’ from his experience

A Bachelorette contestant kicked off the reality series for badmouthing this season’s stars has been offered words of advice from the show’s host, Osher Gunsberg.

Osher, 46, has addressed Pascal Wallace’s shock elimination from the Channel Ten reality series after he unfavorably spoke about Bachelorettes Elly, 26, and Becky Miles, 30.

‘I hope he has a chance to learn from this,’ he said during Thursday’s episode of the Cocktails and Roses podcast, adding it was mind boggling Pascal, 33, denied questioning why the show had not picked ‘better looking’ women.

Osher continued: ‘The young man’s been filmed, okay, and he denies the whole thing. It’s something that blows my mind – it is on camera.’

Reflecting on his own tiffs with wife Audrey Griffen, Osher encouraged Pascal to think about the situation that transpired and heated confrontation with Elly and Becky, which ultimately sent him home.

‘When I am in a tiff with Audrey, I am so staunch and I am so “no, no, this is it … nah, nah, nah, nah” and afterwards, only when all of the stress hormones and all those things have gone out of my body, I can go “oh, oh, no, oh sh*t” and I have to go back, hat in hand … to apologise,’ he said.

‘In the moment I can’t see it and so if he’s in that situation I can relate to that and I hope once the blood has settled and all of those hormones come out of his body, he is able to look at it objectively and have a chance to assess why this is an issue and maybe have a think about how he could do it differently.’

Osher’s tips follow Pascal posting a series of videos to his Instagram, revealing what really went down behind-the-scenes.

Pascal said how he was portrayed on the show was not ‘who he is as a person’.

‘I feel like I need to defend my position, it’s not how I feel about the girls and the way I am going to be portrayed on national television is not who I am as a person,’ he stated in a video.

‘Elly and Becky were fun beautiful girls, wholesome good to be round, which is how I always felt.

‘The comment [contestant] Aggie [Guardiani] said I made about the girls not being hot enough simply just didn’t happen.’

Osher’s comments also follow Pascal revealing he suffered a panic attack and anxiety after being kicked off the dating show.

The Bondi-based CEO, who alleges he spoke to on-site producers about wanting to leave the show after tensions flared among the cast, said he was not popular with the other male contestants and the experience on the show left him feeling bullied.

‘It was orchestrated produced bullying,’ he told Daily Mail Australia on Friday.

‘It was the worst night of my life. [Being] bullied and set up by producers to play this role.

‘I legit couldn’t speak. Damien [Stone] stayed with me the whole time.’

Pascal, went on to say reveal he suffered severe anxiety following production earlier this year, not knowing how the event would be unfolded on national TV.

‘The anxiety for weeks after not knowing the edit… It’s f**ked,’ he said.
