The numbers are in! Gogglebox dominates the ratings as it beats The Bachelorette to become the top entertainment program of the night
Thursday night saw Channel 10 lead the ratings for entertainment programs with, Gogglebox becoming the top entertainment program of the night.
The reality series topped the demographics and pulled in 661,000 metro viewers.
The figures put it ahead of the network’s hit dating series, The Bachelorette, which pulled 534,000 viewers.

However, The Bachelorette led the ratings during it’s 7:30pm time slot, which means Channel 10 will most likely still consider it a success.
Coming in behind Gogglebox was Escape from the City with 367,000 metro viewers and Kings Cross ER with 294,000.
It comes after Foxtel confirmed on Thursday that Gogglebox will be back for a new season in 2021.

Posting to Instagram, the network also announced the news alongside a picture of best friends and Goggleboxers Anastasia and Faye celebrating.
‘Best. News. Ever! Gogglebox is officially BACK in 2021,’ the post on the show’s official page read.

Gogglebox airs on Foxtel’s LifeStyle channel and the show is a production for Foxtel and Network 10.
