It’s official! Michael Clarke and new girlfriend Pip Edwards to make their first public appearance at The Everest 2020… months after his high-profile split from Kyly Clarke in February
Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Pip Edwards are set to make their first public appearance as a couple on Saturday.
The retired Australian cricket captain, 39, and his 40-year-old P.E Nation designer partner are all set to appear at the world’s richest horse race, The Everest, at the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
While the pair have made their relationship known on Instagram, it will be the first time they debut their romance in public following Michael’s split from ex-wife Kyly Clarke, 39, in February.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the couple are set to spend their day with Michael’s Big Sports Breakfast radio team, in The Grandview Restaurant.
A whole host of famous faces attend the race every year, with stars including Candice Warner and Sam Armytage also expected to attend the 2020 event.
While this year’s event will be a Covid-safe experience – with guests’ movements restricted to a specified ticketed area – the stakes will be just as high, with over $15 million to be won or lost in seconds.
Michael and Pip were romantically linked just days after it was confirmed that he had split from Kyly earlier this year, following seven years of marriage.
After months of insisting they were just friends, Pip confirmed they were together in July by sharing a series of loved-up photos to Instagram.

Michael is notoriously private, and while he’s usually hesitant to provide details about his new life with Pip, he did recently say he couldn’t be happier.
‘In regards to me personally? I’m so happy right now,’ he told Stellar magazine last month. ‘I’m in a great place. That’s all I can ask for.’
Michael separated from Kyly in September last year, but they waited until February 12 before confirming their split in a statement.
In April, Kyly said she was on good terms with her former partner, who she shares four-year-old daughter Kelsey with.

‘Kelsey Lee is our priority, so we’re just doing everything that is in her best interest. Her happiness is paramount,’ the former model confirmed on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.
She added that she wasn’t going to change her surname, because she wants to be the same as her daughter.
‘I think that’s a bit of a fuss, it’s funny how sometimes you make such a fuss in the beginning about changing names and not changing names but it’s very important I think that our last names are the same and I love that,’ she added.
