Love Island co-stars Jack Fincham and Laura Anderson make a pact to get MARRIED

Love Island co-stars Jack Fincham and Laura Anderson have made a pact to get married by 40 if they are still single. 

The reality stars, who appeared on the ITV2 show in 2018, re-united with fellow islander Dr Alex George, 30, for a picnic in the park. 

Jack, 29, described how he and Laura, 31, are ‘such good friends’ as they appeared on the ITV2 show, Love Island: What Happened Next which airs on Wednesday.

Alex revealed how Laura ‘likes to date’ those who have appeared on the ITV2 show and described how Jack would ‘fit the bill’ of her perfect man.

Asking the pair if they would ever ‘kindle some romance’, Jack responded: ‘You see me and Laura right?

‘We are such good friends. Honestly I love her to death right I talk to her at least a couple of times a week.

‘So I will tell you what I will do Laura. Let’s make a pact. If we are both not married by the time we are 40 we will get married.’ 

The A&E doctor cheekily questioned if the pair are just going to ‘stay single’ now they have the pact in place. 

Newly-single Laura, who split from her fitness coach boyfriend Tom Brazier just days after moving back to Scotland in September, laughed as she added: ‘I probably will you know!’

Jack, who become a father in January to daughter to 10-month-old Blossom after a brief relationship with long-time friend Casey Range, joked: ‘She [Laura] asked me out on a date once.’ 

However Laura, who looked glamorous in a cream blouse with her caramel locks in loose waves, responded: ‘That is totally not true!’ 

Teasing his former co-stars, Alex said: ‘I am third-wheeling at the moment but I can just leave you guys alone if you want?’

While Laura laughed at the pair, Jack cheekily replied: ‘Alex do you mind popping off?’

The trio ended by clinking their glasses with a ‘cheers’ to ‘love’ and ‘laughs’.

The former pen salesman was crowned the winner of Love Island in 2018 with his former girlfriend Dani Dyer, 23. 

The couple split in 2019 with Jack revealing on social media: ‘There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me an Dani are not in a relationship anymore.’ 

Dani announced in July she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence – just three months after they rekindled their relationship.

Asked by Laura on the ITV2 Love Island reunion about Dani, Jack said: ‘I’m so happy for her. She’ll make a brilliant mum as well.’

Meanwhile Stirling-born Laura told fans of her split on an Instagram story last month: ‘Thank you for all the DMs asking about Tom and I since I moved up north.

‘Unfortunately it hasn’t worked out between us. In respect of Tom’s privacy I won’t be discussing this further. All my love to him and you all for continued support.’

Although the pair never revealed exactly when they met, the couple went public with their romance in May and spent lockdown together at Laura’s London flat. 

Laura had originally enthused about her new life in Scotland with Tom who she got together with during lockdown after meeting him in January whilst walking her dog.

Love Island: What Happened Next airs on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2.
