‘Happy birthday, boo’: Isla Fisher shares throwback with Sacha Baron Cohen as he turns 49 and thanks her husband for ‘trying to make the world a better place’

Isla Fisher shared a sweet throwback snap of herself with husband Sacha Baron Cohen on Instagram on Tuesday night. 

The actress, 44, shared the image in celebration of his 49th birthday and thanked him for ‘trying to make the world a better place.’

She wrote: ‘Happy Birthday boo. You have had an amazing year as an activist, actor, father and husband.

‘Thank you for trying as hard as you can to make the world a better place.’ 

Actor Orlando Bloom, 43, wrote in the comments: ‘Very handsome in the photo.’

Supermodel Helena Christensen, 51, penned: ‘Same bday as my son ❤️ happy birthday you handsome chap @sachabaroncohen.’

And actor David Arquette, 49, wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to that.’

They are proud parents to three children: Olive, 12, Elula, eight, and Montgomery, four.   

The Confessions of a Shopaholic star told Australian Marie Claire in May 2018, that meeting Sacha was like ‘winning the lottery’. 

She said their relationship is built on ‘a shared sense of humour and a willingness to be married’.

Isla, who relocated to Los Angeles early on in her career, admitted that ‘juggling a family in LA isn’t easy’.

‘There’s not really a culture of bringing your kids to dinner parties or to restaurants past 6pm. 

‘I tend to entertain at home because I want to be with my family – it’s easier to put your kids to bed and have a wine with friends.’
