Amber Heard is stylish equestrienne in white shirt and black jodhpurs as she goes horse riding in LA

Amber Heard took advantage of a glorious fall day in Los Angeles and went horseback riding.

The Aquaman star, 34, arrived for her session looking every inch the equestrienne.

She wore a white shirt knotted at the navel and black jodhpurs tucked into riding boots. 

The actress wore her blonde hair tied back from her face and added a red headband to make sure to keep stray wisps out of her eyes.

She sipped on a canned beverage as she arrived before mounting her horse for a lesson in a riding ring.

The former wife of Johnny Depp looked happy and relaxed as she put her chestnut steed through its paces.

The next stage of her ongoing legal battle with Depp has been postponed by the courts until May next year.

So as she waits to be able to start filming on Aquaman 2 in February, Heard has been making the most of her downtime.

She is currently in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti. 

At the start of this month, the Rum Diary star faced a painful anniversary.

On Friday October 2, she shared on Instagram: ‘Yesterday was my mom’s birthday. They say the first one is the hardest. I hope that’s true.. although nothing will ever lessen how much I miss her or will miss being able to tell her happy birthday.’

Alongside the emotional post, Heard added a photo showing herself and Butti consoling each other in front of a shrine to her late mom who passed away in May.
