MAFS: Tash Herz breaks silence on her trainwreck ‘marriage’ to Amanda Micallef

MAFS’ Tash Herz breaks her silence on her trainwreck ‘marriage’ to Amanda Micallef in a blistering Instagram post after being ‘vilified’ in the edit

Married At First Sight‘s seventh season may be ancient history, but former bride Tash Herz is still whingeing about her bad ‘edit’.

The Adelaide bartender shared a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday about her bad experience on the show with ex-‘wife’ Amanda Micallef.

Promoting a tell-all podcast, Tash said she was no longer scared to ‘speak my truth’ about what happened during and after production.

Angry: Married At First Sight’s seventh season may be ancient history, but former bride Tash Herz (pictured) is still whingeing about her bad ‘edit’

For those who didn’t watch the series, Tash was portrayed as a ‘villain’ for coldly refusing to show any affection towards her partner during the honeymoon – after previously getting hot and heavy on their wedding day.

She didn’t come off particularity well, and it was implied that she wasn’t making an effort to form a romantic connection with her ‘spouse’.

But Tash pushed the blame on personal trainer Amanda, whom she accused of having an entitled and overbearing attitude.

‘I want people to know what it was like for me, if they are curious or can’t understand through the editing and vilifying, what it was like to be constantly asked why you don’t want to be around someone that feels they are owed physical affection, love and fame no matter how many times you have explained, kindly, that you do not feel comfortable giving them that,’ she wrote.

‘Again, I will remind you all, YOU DO NOT OWE ANYONE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL OR SPIRITUAL LOVE. Listen [to the podcast] if you want, don’t if you don’t, for me this was about closure and release. Thank you to everyone that has supported me this year, it’s been a rumble.’

She also accused Amanda of ‘slandering’ her in the press by claiming – among other things – that she was secretly dating anther woman during the experiment.

While it’s true that Amanda did speak negatively about her ex in the media, the hostility went both ways and Tash rubbed salt in the wound by staging paparazzi photos with her new girlfriend while her season of MAFS was still airing.

The new season of Married At First Sight is currently in production and will air on Channel Nine next year.
