Jessica Alba says she’s never ‘had a good review in my entire career’

Jessica Alba says she’s never ‘had a good review in my entire career’ claiming critics only care about headlines

She’s carved out a career on the big and small screen since finding fame on the TV show Dark Angel in the early 2000s.

But Jessica Alba isn’t impressed with those critics who pass judgment on her work.

During a recent appearance on Hot Ones, Alba, 39, said: ‘I don’t actually think I’ve ever had a good review in my entire career.’

The actress has had lead roles in films such as Honey, Fantastic Four, Into The Blue and Good Luck Chuck.

She said on the YouTube show that she thinks movie reviewers ‘love a good headline’.

‘It’s all about the headline, it’s all about a salacious headline. And for some reason scandal seems to prevail over you complimenting someone,’ Alba explained.

‘I, for whatever reason, have been on the other side of the burn every time,’ she added.

Meanwhile, Alba, who currently stars in Spectrum Original series LA’s Finest with Gabrielle Union, confessed Monday that she wants a break from her husband Cash Warren and their three children Honor, 12, Haven, nine, and Hayes, two.

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she said she’s planning to go away for a week to recharge her batteries.

She told Barrymore: ‘I’ve had it, I’ve had enough. And they all come down on me. Every time they ask me, ‘Mom can I download this app? Mom can I get on the Facetime? Mom I’m hungry. Is this outfit okay? Can you help me.’

The Honest Company founder shared that her husband isn’t too helpful when it comes to dealing with their children’s demands.

She said: ‘Then I just start nagging and I’m just nagging and I’m that person and then they are like, ‘Mom, your tone you’re so mean.’ And then Cash is like, ‘I guess I’m just going to go back into my man room,’ And I’m like, ‘What else is new?’ Just disappearing for me to deal with everything.’
