‘It’s nonsense’: Elly Miles furiously blasts rumours she’s on The Bachelorette for fame… as sister Becky unconvincingly gushes over her suitor after claiming she ISN’T in love
They’re the first ever sisters to take part in The Bachelorette together.
And on Tuesday, Elly Miles furiously blasted claims the duo were doing the show ‘for fame’ during an interview with host Osher Günsberg.
Speaking on his Better Than Yesterday podcast, Elly, 26, raged: ‘It’s nonsense. We’re just two chicks from the country, and the most important thing to us is just to live a happy life.’

‘From our background and the way we grew up, that truly is the most important thing,’ she added.
‘Money isn’t important to us, fame isn’t important to us. We can only speak for ourselves in that respect, because I think there probably are people that come on to it for profile. But for us, it’s not the case at all.’
Later in the podcast, the host asked if it had been difficult being separated from their winning contestants after filming wrapped in early September.
In order to keep the ending a secret, the Bachelorettes and their chosen suitors are rarely able to see one another until the finale airs in case they’re spotted in public.
‘Money isn’t important to us, fame isn’t important to us. We can only speak for ourselves in that respect, because I think there probably are people that come onto it for profile in the past. But for us, it’s not the case at all,’ Elly said of her and sister Becky
‘It’s been really tough,’ Elly said. ‘It’s sort of like – you have this crazy, emotional rollercoaster.
‘You have the end goal there, and you finally get to that point where you’re like, “Yes! We’ve made it, and I’m so happy.” And then you’re separated again and it all just feels like a bit of a dream.’
While Elly seemed devastated that she was apart from her love, 30-year-old Becky’s response appeared a little less convincing.
‘You’re trying your best to talk every day and text every day… and keeping that spark alive,’ she said. ‘Not long to go, we’re going to… stick with it!’

‘It is tough, as you just want to be with each other and you have to wait,’ Elly chimed in. ‘We’ve been so lucky that the turnaround is so quick for us. So that is a blessing!’

During the Life Uncut podcast on Tuesday, Elly admitted she was ‘the most smitten she’s ever been’ with her new man – but Becky responded: ‘I would’t say love! But I’m definitely in a happy place, so.
‘I feel like the road to love is a bit of a journey right? And I just want that time on the outside to just get to know my person, and have fun and just do real life.’
