Inside Bachelor rejects Bella Varelis and Bec Cvilikas’ Insta-perfect Byron Bay getaway

They’re both tipped to be joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise.

But it seems that Bachelor runners-up Bella Varelis and Bec Cvilikas, both 25, have found a paradise of their own during their lavish trip to Byron Bay this week.

Proving Locky Gilbert’s rejection is but a distant memory, the pair have spent their days lounging by the pool, eating at trendy restaurants and visiting local hotspots.

The holiday kicked off on Sunday, when Bec and Bella reunited with former Bachelor rivals Izzy Sharman-Firth and Steph Harper at Byron Bay’s Main Beach. 

Documenting their reunion, Bella shared a photo to Instagram of the trio posing on the sand in bikinis. 

Despite being in competition on The Bachelor, the three women looked closer than ever as they cosied up on a beach towel. 

Also on Sunday, Bec shared a photo of herself sitting on the beach in a beige crop top and denim cut-offs.

The blonde twisted her body away from the camera so she could stare wistfully at the water while still giving fans a clear view of her bronzed physique.

‘Being back here makes me happppy,’ she wrote in the caption, making sure to tag her location.

On Monday, Bella and Bec indulged in some retail therapy as they visited a trendy Byron Bay clothing shop.

‘Wallet isn’t going to be too happy with this pit stop,’ Bella mused on Instagram Stories as she uploaded a photo of the boutique’s stylish entrance.

Bella’s prediction proved true, as she later uploaded a photo of her shopping bag after splashing out at the store.

Later on Monday, the twosome were seen lounging by the pool at the opulent Elements of Byron resort.

‘Can I just stay here forever?’ Bec wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing a video of her poolside view – and a glimpse at her maroon bikini bottoms.

Bella shared a similar photo of herself relaxing on a daybed next to a fruity-looking drink while wearing a ruched terracotta bikini.

Bella also shared a video of herself wading towards the resort’s heated lagoon and poolside cocktail bar, writing: ‘Will be here for the rest of the day.’

For dinner, the pair visited the glamorous Beach Byron Bay restaurant, which boasts incredible water views. 

‘Dinner with a view,’ Bella wrote alongside an Instagram Stories clip of herself sashaying across the outdoor dining area.

Capping the night off was a trip to cocktail bar The Mez club, where Bella made sure to pose for more glamorous photos.
