Bobby Bones gets engaged to girlfriend Caitlin Parker with the help of musician Mat Kearney: ‘I am the luckiest’
Bobby Bones sis officially off the market, as he spent his Sunday night popping the question to girlfriend Caitlin Parker.
The 40-year-old radio personality (real name Bobby Estell) and American Idol mentor first met Parker in late 2019 through their mutual friend Lauren Alaina.
Bones took to Instagram on Sunday night to share photos from the surprise engagement, which happened in their Nashville backyard, with an assist of sorts by musician Mat Kearney.

‘I am the luckiest . I waited so long for the right one. And it payed off. Surprised her with a secret proposal in the barn in the backyard,’ Bones began.
‘After she said yes, our song nothing left to lose by Mat Kearney was playing outside. And it was @matkearney playing it, he added.
‘She said it was at Mat’s concert during this song that she knew I was the one for her,’ Bones added.
Luckiest: ‘I am the luckiest . I waited so long for the right one. And it payed off Surprised her with a secret proposal in the barn in the backyard,’ Bones began.
‘So lucky he played it again for only us tonight. I’m so happy I get marry to love of my life,’ the DJ concluced.
Parker took to her own Instagram on Sunday night, sharing more photos from Bones popping the question earlier that night.
‘I get to marry the best man I’ve ever known,’ Parker began in the caption of her Instagram post.

‘Bobby surprised me with the most amazing proposal in the barn in our back yard which was immediately followed by a live performance of @matkearney singing our song,’ Parker added.
‘I am in shock and feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I’m so in love & so happy,’ she concluded, ‘signing’ the post as, ‘the future Caitlin Estell.’
Parker’s best friend works in publicity for ABC, and she was invited to the set of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, while Bones was visiting their common friend Lauren Alaina.

‘We didn’t really hit it off the first time we met. We were just like ‘Hi, what’s up?’ and then we started talking on Instagram like a month later,’ Bones told PeopleNow earlier this year.
‘We went out, and then we went out again, and we were luckily at the point in our relationship where it was like, “Hey, do you just want to quarantine together?”‘ Bones said.
‘So she came here [to Nashville] from Los Angeles — we’ve been here for several weeks and it’s been great,’ he said.
