In a lengthy post, she wrote: ‘Mental health is something I have struggled with for as far back as I can remember …. it can be a rocky journey, and one that we have to take with care, being kind to ourselves can be one of the hardest things to do.

‘I just really wanted to say to everyone who is struggling you are not alone. Although we often feel alone and like no one understands, there are many avenues of help available, talking to someone can really lessen the pressure on your shoulders.

‘Peoples lives may look a certain way from social media and everything can look perfect but this doesn’t mean they don’t have internal struggles.

‘It’s ok to feel overwhelmed and unstable even when everything looks perfect from the outside. Sending you all lots of love and strength today and always.’

Mark, meanwhile, shared a candid video in which he detailed how 75 per cent of those committing suicide are men, as he urged followers to reach out for help.

In an honest chat, he said: ‘Hey guys, I hope you’re having a great Saturday so far, look guys I wanted to talk about something important that I don’t speak about often, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever spoken about it on social media.

‘But today is world mental health day, and I feel as someone who with some form of platform I need to talk about it and raise awareness about it because it’s so, so, so important, especially in these difficult times that we are dealing with right now.

‘If I can help one person today watching it then this is worth it, firstly to anyone who has mental health issues watching this I want to send you all the love in the world because to be honest I can’t imagine how tough that must be.

‘I’ve been fortunate enough that I’m not someone who suffers from mental health issues although of course I’ve experienced moments like everybody does, of anxiety or feeling a bit low from time to time, a little bit confused.

‘So I don’t want to claim I’m an expert on this topic at all because I’m totally not, but if I could give any advice, when I’m feeling anxious or a little bit stressed, working out, staying active, training, clears my mind and gets rid of that stress. So if you want to take that advice then please do.’

He went on: ‘I learnt yesterday in the UK 6,500 people die by suicide every single year, let that sink in. That’s 125 people a week, and 75 per cent of those suicides are male, and 75 per cent of men who do die by suicide are not in touch with mental health services prior to their death, who potentially could have helped.

‘So, having loved ones that do suffer considerably with mental health issues, like people in my family do, those stats they really, really hit home for me.

‘That’s 6500 families, like mine, who lost a loved one in the past year, I don’t even know how I would feel or how I would cope if this happened in my family.’

Urging followers to seek help if they’re struggling, he added: ‘So, please, if you’re suffering do not go through this alone, talk to someone if you’re feeling s*** even a friend or a family member, whether that be today, next week, or next month.

‘And for extra help, calm have a webchat and helpline available which is completely anonymous, private, and of course non-judgemental. These are both open from 5pm to midnight every single day of the year.’

He went on: ‘I want to round this off by saying a huge shout out to calm and all the other mental health workers and charities out there, you really are amazing and you’re saving lives everyday, and we need to save more.

‘So if you’re watching this, I reiterate, if you’re feeling down, anxious, or low at any point in your life please reach out to a family member or a friend, don’t do this alone or reach out to calm or another kind of charity.

‘I find when I feel low or anxious, or stressed, or confused, I always reach out, I’m somebody who finds it okay to do that, and i want you to be the same.

‘Don’t feel embarrassed the minute I feel low I get on the phone to my friend or I talk to my wife or my family members, and that may be why I don’t go to deeper situations. But, please, reach out today. Have a great weekend.’
