Bachelor Nation’s Amanda Stanton praises six-year-old daughter Charlie for being ‘strong’ and brave’ after undergoing surgery for fractured elbow
There were some tense moments for Amanda Stanton and her family on Wednesday.
The reality star’s six-year-old daughter, Charlie, fractured her elbow after jumping on a bed and falling off on October 7 and had to be rushed to the hospital.
The injury required surgery early the next morning, but all is well now, with The Bachelor alum calling her little girl ‘strong’ and ‘brave’ in several subsequent social media posts.

The accident on the bed happened around 7 o’clock Wednesday night.
Initially Charlie was rushed to an urgent care in Orange County, California, where she and her mother were promptly sent to a local emergency room.
“She’s been SO strong and handling it better than I ever could,’ Stanton wrote along with a picture of Char staring straight into the camera while laying in a hospital bed.

Brave: The little girl was eventually taken from the urgent care to an emergency room
From there, Charlie was transported to CHOC [Children’s Hospital of Orange County] around 2 a.m. on Thursday ‘so she could have surgery’ at the facility later in the morning.
Char could be seen laying back on her bed as hospital workers loaded her into an ambulance for the ride over in another Instagram post,
After the surgery Stanton gave an update to her 1.1 million fans and followers and assured them that her little girl was doing good both physically and emotionally.
‘She’s been so brave! She isn’t in too much pain & is loving her pink cast and me feeding her popsicles,’ the proud mom gushed.

The Bachelor In Paradise star went on to share a video of Charlie walking across a street Thursday night, holding hands with her sister Kinsley, eight.
She followed that up the following day she posting a clip of their ride home from the hospital, where Charlie was surrounded by candy and fast food in the backseat.
Stanton shares her two girls with ex-husband Nick Buonfiglio, whom she divorced in 2015 after about three years of marriage.
The California native starred on the 20th season of The Bachelor that featured Ben Higgins in 2016 and was eliminated in the eighth week.
She later appeared on, and won, the 3rd season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2016.
