Bachelorette viewers cringed on Thursday night when AB Sow rejected Becky Miles during the very first rose ceremony of the season.
And while the videographer and filmmaker claims it was because he ‘didn’t think he was right’ for the 30-year-old, Becky has now revealed the bizarre reason he decided to up and leave so soon in the contest.
Speaking candidly on The Babble podcast with Matty J and Ruby, Becky claims Sow admitted he simply ‘wasn’t ready for love’ .

This is odd considering he signed up for the Channel 10 match-making show knowing it’s literally built for finding love.
On the podcast, Becky said: ‘I took him outside and had a chat to him and, he looked upset. I just said to him “are you OK?”
‘You could just tell by the look on his face. He said: “watching you girls do your speech tonight, I realise that I’m not ready for love. I couldn’t continue on this journey know how I felt.’

But it was apparently a relief for Becky, who added: ‘We were really glad he was honest, as then we’re able to spend more time with the other guys who were there wanting to get to know us.’
His decision to walk away from the blonde beauty left the other suitors stunned and confused, calling the moment an ‘absolute bombshell’.
‘I just don’t think I’m the right person for you. It’s only right that I’m honest with you right now instead of letting you know down the road,’ he told her.

A teary Becky then returned to join her sister, Elly, 26, and explained that AB just ‘wasn’t feeling it’.
Earlier in the night, AB introduced himself by kissing Becky’s hand, after zeroing in on her and completely ignoring Elly.
‘This is the definition of being a third wheel. This is… I’m the third wheel right now,’ remarked Elly.
