Viewers praise AB Sow for declining to accept a rose from Becky Miles on The Bachelorette

AB Sow shocked fans when he declined to accept a rose from Becky Miles on The Bachelorette on Wednesday.

And fans flocked to Twitter to praise the dancing filmmaker, 27, for being honest and upfront with his feelings.

‘Good on ya AB. Honesty is Key,’ one wrote, before another echoed: ”Cudos AB. For being honest, that’s a first!’

‘AB what a legend! That was so nice of him to up front right away, wrote a third fan.

‘Nothing but respect for the dancing man AB. We all know there are MANY contestants in this franchise who could have done the same on night one,’ added another. 

Meanwhile, someone else joked: ‘AB gaining some Instagram followers and then leaving,’ before another echoed the sentiment.

‘AB just came on to show off his dancing skills and he’s out of there,’ they wrote. 

But there were viewers who were sceptical at his decision to leave, including one who said: ‘Does AB think that he is playing the hero? I don’t get it.’

Meanwhile, others hoped they hadn’t seen the last of him.

‘AB better be on BIP if he doesn’t score a sister here,’ they wrote. 

During the rose ceremony, Becky was about to give her rose to AB when he came forward and graciously declined to accept. 

‘Becky, I’m really sorry. You’re absolutely beautiful and unfortunately, I cannot accept this rose.’ 

He explained to her: ‘I just don’t think I’m the right person for you. It’s only right that I’m honest with you right now instead of letting you know down the road.’

The blonde beauty was understanding of his decision and said: ‘I really appreciate your honesty, for stepping up and… and telling us how you feel.’
