The Bachelorette: Elly Miles confronts radio host who ‘slid into her DMs’

She is currently looking for the man of her dreams on The Bachelorette, but it appears that Elly Miles wasn’t short of suitors before going on the show. 

On Wednesday, the 26-year-old nurse called out radio host Woody Whitelaw for ‘sliding into her DMs’ back when they were both single.

Recalling their brief flirtation on KIIS 106.5 drive show Will & Woody, the reality star confronted Woody about what happened.

‘It ages and ages ago after I was on the show [The Bachelor] the first time, did you slid into my DMs then?’ she asked him.

‘Or you tried to make a move on radio on me and I was like, “Who is this bloke?!”‘ 

Defending himself, Woody said he’d thought ‘there was some chemistry there’ when he first interviewed Elly last year, so he decided to message her afterwards.

Woody then ‘slipped back into her DMs’ again when COVID-19 lockdown hit, after the blonde had started following him on Instagram.   

‘From memory it was a good slip, wasn’t it?’ Woody asked.

‘Yeah it wasn’t bad, there was definitely a lot of good banter there,’ she said. 

But nothing eventuated between the two, and Elly went on to accept Channel 10’s offer to take part in The Bachelorette with her sister, Becky. 

According to Sportsbet, Frazer Neate is the odds-on favourite to win Elly’s affection, while Pete Mann is tipped to steal Becky’s heart.
