Jennifer Garner tells Jill Biden ‘Moms are gonna put you in the White House’ during Instagram Q&A

Jennifer Garner is voting for Joe Biden for President.

And on Tuesday, the Hollywood actress, 48, hosted an Instagram Live Q&A with the Vice President’s wife Dr. Jill Biden.

The two women, who have worked together as advocates for Save The Children, discussed the educator’s plans to focus on supporting moms and making sure ‘kids come first’ should she become the next First Lady.

Dr. Biden, 69, acknowledged that life has been tough for a lot of mothers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as they try ‘to do their jobs, teach online, help their kids online when they’re schooling and doing everything else.’

‘I think moms rule, don’t you?’ she said.

Garner agreed, responding: ‘I think moms, we get it done. I think moms are gonna put you in the White House.’

Garner, who shares three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, went on: ‘I have seen, as a teacher, you putting your relationship with your students above all else because you really do see that as a sacred pact. That’s all I really needed ever to know.’

‘I hope that’s right,’ said Dr. Biden. ‘Because we’re all just trying to balance our families and take care of our families, which are so important to us.’

‘In this pandemic we’ve seen so much chaos and confusion, and we just need calm, steadiness,’ she said.

Dr. Biden married Joe Biden in 1977 and became a step-mother to his two young sons Hunter and Beau, whose mother and baby sister had died in a car crash five years earlier.

The two went on to have a daughter together named Ashley.

Garner split from Hollywood star Affleck in 2015 after a decade of marriage.

They finalized their divorce in 2018 and continue to co-parents their daughters Violet, 14, and Seraphina, 11, and their son Samuel, eight.
