Josh Duhamel pulls double duty as the star and first-time director in the new trailer for his comedy Buddy Games.
The 47-year-old actor not only stars and directs, but he also produces and co-wrote the script for this outlandish comedy, with the first trailer arriving via Saban Films.
The film follows Duhamel’s character Bobfather as he assembles his best friends for a series of crazy competitions with the winner taking home $150,000.

The trailer begins with Shelly (Dan Bakkedahl) being dropped off by his mother, who thinks the place must bring back good memories.
While we see a few random shots from previous trips, Shelly tells his mother that the last time he was there, ‘I was getting wheeled out on a stretcher.’
Bobfather is heard saying that, ‘throughout history, humans have had a primal instinct to compete, to dominate.’

‘And through these battles, an unexpected camaraderie was born,’ he adds, while we see shots of Bobfather’s friends, as he adds, ‘This is a story about my group of friends.’
One of the games is paintball, as we see Bender (Nick Swardson) getting shot in the back multiple times by a paintball gun.
Bobfather then tells his friends outside that the Buddy Games is back, and that they’re going to play for $150,000.
Friends: ‘And through these battles, an unexpected camaraderie was born,’ he adds, while we see shots of Bobfather’s friends, as he adds, ‘This is a story about my group of friends’
Bender adds that the money was ‘not easy to scrape up,’ adding that he, ‘gave a bum a handjob for 30 dollars’ as Doc (Kevin Dillon) nearly throws up.
They then head to a bar named The Spread Eagle to kick off the competition with an unusual game – get a girl to buy you a drink… before you crap your pants after given a laxative.
Bender seems to have the most luck, asking a girl and getting denied when he says he lives in his van, but she agrees when he says he’ll, ‘chow your box for a week.’

Saban Films hasn’t issued a release date for Buddy Games at this time.
