Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson takes takes baby Ollie for a car drive for the first time

Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson has taken her newborn son Oliver Chase Merchant on a car trip for the first time.  

The 37-year-old welcomed her first child with husband Cameron Merchant on Saturday, posting a video of the birth and the little boy’s finger clutching her own.

And on Tuesday, she took to her Instagram Stories to share how her first solo car trip with the bub had gone.

‘Big moment I just drove for the first time with little Ollie in the back, 30 minutes in silence, I do have to say,’ Jules gushed. 

‘Now I have arrived where I need to be and I forgot the keys to get in, so big time baby brain.’  

The former reality star revealed that her first time driving with her newborn son was ‘quite a scary’ experience. 

‘What an achievement, it is quite scary isn’t it?’ she added. 

‘A lot of women and friends have said that when you drive for the first time you are constantly looking in the little mirror at the back, but we did it.’ 

In the clip, Jules was dressed casually in a black shirt with a black and white patterned cardigan.   

The new mum was glowing with minimal makeup on and her long red tresses worn loose. 

It comes after Jules shared the first photo of Oliver to Instagram on Sunday. 

In the photograph, Jules is shown cradling her tiny son while sitting cross-legged on the hospital bed. 

The redhead posed in a pastel blue T-shirt with gold lettering reading ‘mama lioness’ across the front as she sat in a hospital bed, staring down lovingly at Oliver. 

At her feet sat a sign which read: ‘Welcome to the world baby cub Oliver Chase Merchant’.  

Jules captioned the adorable photo: ‘Hear me roar. #mamalionessandhercub #proudmumma #newborn’.
