EXCLUSIVE: How Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson got special treatment after giving birth to her son by ‘begging’ staff to let her check out of hospital at night to avoid paparazzi

Married At First Sight stars Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant welcomed their first child, son Oliver, at the Northern Beaches Hospital on Friday.

And it seems the reality TV couple went to great lengths to protect their newborn from paparazzi waiting outside.

‘Jules begged the nurses to let her check out at night and help her get out of the hospital without being seen,’ a source told Daily Mail Australia.

According to an onlooker, Cameron, 36, arrived in the early hours of the morning with a baby carrier, ready to pick up Jules, 37, and their child.

The couple managed to slip past photographers via a side exit instead of using the hospital’s main entrance.

Cameron, a retired cricketer, made sure their escape plan went smoothly by ‘talking to security’ at the hospital, the witness alleged.

Once the couple returned to their $1.8million home, photographers were there to get the all-important first shot of the baby.

But Cameron and his parents was able to outsmart them by holding up towels to obscure the newborn as they carried him inside.

It’s believed the fame-loving couple are hiding their child’s face for the time being because they’ve signed an exclusive deal with a magazine.
